There is no rule in the book that states: “One must wear pinks and reds on Valentine's Day”
But….I personally am a big fan of those colors. This dress is from H&M, and the bright pink is pretty loud, but Valentine's gives you a free pass for any shade of pink. My friend Jozy and I decided to do a style shoot for Valentine’s Day, and for Style Guru Love Day. During the week of Valentine’s, College Fashionista dedicated February 17th to be Style Guru Love Day, having each Style Guru share photos across their instagram feed and Instagram Stories to share why they love being apart of College Fashionista.
Why I love College Fashionista:
It has introduced me to so many people across the United States! This was the reason why I got involved with blogging. Two and half years ago I had just bought my own DSLR camera (due to the fact that my mom was annoyed that I was always stealing hers), and I knew that I wanted a place to post them. I honestly do not even remember how I came across the College Fashionista application, Facebook maybe? You learn so much about fashion so easily, with people that also share the same interests as you. My favorite addition has to be the CF Podcasts, where they feature professionals in the industry on “Office Hours.” I always am so inspired by hearing how people go to where they are today as a lot of people have stories that you would never expect. They have featured Mackenzie Wagoner, Kristie Dash, Rebecca Minkoff, and Jordyn Woods.
The Podcasts are free and can be found on this link!
Clique media group has now bough College Fashionista, and they also own Who What Wear. They are a global media, marketing, and consumer brands company.
